There are fines on the books now for employers in most areas. Not even stiffer penalties would work.

Unless there's a way to actually 'enforce' rules/laws, etc. then it's all pointless.

You can have laws coming our your #######, but they are all meaningless if there's no man power to go out and enforce them.

I disagree that stiffer penalties wouldn't work...but I think maybe stricter enforcement would do the trick.

As I said, those penalties require the enforcement.

Think of it like this. Most people Speed down the highway. Why? Because the odds of them getting caught are very slim in the grand scheme of things. People drink and drive all the time for the same reason, eventhough in a lot of areas it means automatic suspension of your DL, jail time, large fines, etc.

While for some just knowing the consequences is a detterant, it's not for a lot of people still until they get caught.

So is your name calling when other members disagree with you. So unnecessary.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

5000USD was suggestion. It could be lesser. It could be the free plane ride back home. They money could come from the money that's being used for pointless Iraq was. We spend, what, like, 160billion USD a year on that war? Right? Twenty-five percent of that will be enough for my plan. And obviously, your method will also be part of the total solution. The money received from that could go toward the reward for leaving. This gives me another idea. You could have the employers provide for the plane ride back home to their illegal employees. Do that to not be prosecuted criminally. All of this will be applied in phases over 5 to 10 years.

I'm not suggesting this but they could always print more money. So in effect, the money could figureatively come from the trees outside the White House. Got it, chump?

Yes, freeing a ppl from a murderous dictator is stupid yet paying for free plane rides for illegal aliens is great? Print more money? fvcking priceless

Flawed logic there. Unless you prevent them from literally walking straight back in, no measure will work. Building a wall and patrolling the border is the first step. The next step is cut off the incentive to come here, like get rid of the idiotic automatic citizenship granted by birth rubbish. Mandate that all government services require a 100 point ID check and e-verify. Last but not least, make it totally unfeasible to hire an illegal alien.

No profiling necessary with the above measures.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Tell me how did you manage to make this genious comparison between freeing people from murderous dictators and free plane ride for illegals to go back to their country? I'm sure this is all somehow very rational in your mind. Show me how.

I was just kidding about the printing more money. You didn't get the humor of it. Since you didn't, in retrospect I am dead serious. Print more money. Give me the first batch of 100 billion dollars.

No - the first step is to enforce employment law to remove the incentive to come, not wait several years while expensive walls are built that cannot be cost-effectively patrolled and maintained (and which create political problems with a country that supplies a lot of the US' manufactured goods).

So is yours, because my point was I was disagreeing with one thing he said, and agreeing with the other. And no, it wasn't exactly what he said or else I wouldn't have said 'i disagree'

Well you need both. Enforcing the employment law is the quickest and easiest start, however, the current administration indicated they have no interest in doing so.

Sir, you have nailed it. If you stop allowing farmers, contractors, etc. from getting a few extra bucks by hiring illegal aliens, there will be no reason for them to come. End of problem.

Building a wall is counter productive, as it will cost billions in an already pummeled economy, not to mention that illegals always find a way to get in.

Aside from the drug and illegal immigration issue, as MADHOUSE pointed out, the US benefits a lot more from Mexico than viceversa. The NAFTA has allowed the US to enter the Mexican economy with everyday products, franchises, etc. You might as well want to be on their good side. By this I do not mean anything supporting illegal workers, rather asking the feds to enforce the labor laws and avoid all this violence.

Do I have to teach you everything? While some people would get off on hearing chorusus of " Yes, Master" there are some who may prefer feedback like " Your strategy's so inspiring I'm going to follow your lead".

Will you allow experts like myself to simplistically frame all of your choices?
