Never miss an opportune moment to bash Obama.

from the msnbc link above:

Arturo Sandoval, a spokesman for the Chihuahua state Attorney General's office, said a spent .40-caliber shell casing was found near the body — raising the question of whether the fatal shot was fired inside Mexico, although he did not explicitly make that allegation.

That would violate the rules for Border Patrol agents, who are supposed to stay on the U.S. side of the border — and it also could open the agent to a Mexican homicide prosecution.

A U.S. official said video shows the Border Patrol agent did not enter Mexico.

The official, who agreed to discuss the matter only if not quoted by name, said the video also shows what seem to be four Mexican law enforcement officers driving to the edge of the dry but muddy bed of the Rio Grande, walking across to the U.S. side, picking up an undetermined object and returning to Mexico near the area where the boy's body was. Like their U.S. counterparts, Mexican law officers are not authorized to cross the border without permission.

i have to wonder if anyone has put the parts in bold together....

Yes

ahah ! we have reached common ground

If a mother drops a sprog in Mexico near the border and a strong wind means it hits the ground in the US and is therefore a USC - well that is wrong.

Even if the parent is here legally it's wrong. There should be a U.N. resolution that the child has the same nationality as the mother and if the original country won't give em a passport, they should get a U.N. passport to stop em being stateless. Problem solved.

The United Nations passport allows them to stay in the U.S. indefinitely but not to import relatives. If the child qualifies for a green card through the normal process later, then that is their only path to citizenship.

Now will you vote for me for Prezzy ?

No need for any UN resolution. It's the way it work in most first world countries. One of the parents has to be a citizen, otherwise the child is simply granted citizenship to their parent's home country. The US is one of few countries that still allow this get your foot onto US soil and you qualify for citizenship. The sheer idiocy in this law still being in place speaks volumes.

Read the article. The Mexicans came onto U.S. soil. And the FBI backed away, because the Mexican security forces had rifles.

#######. Where is the National Guard?

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

You are joking. Now wouldn't that be something.

This whole US border agents shot a kid doesn't add up.

Seems to be a lot of ifs and buts and conflicting stories and innuendo and conspiracy theories..

Lets wait to see the videos - all of them. If the border is the center line of a dried up river then it might be difficult

Who spit over whose fence has to be secondary to the dead boy and who shot him and why though.

Whoever shot him will need a very good reason

You are right. So what makes more rational sense to you? There was foul play from the US towards a boy or there was foul play from Mexico. It's amazing how quick some are willing to throw their own countrymen under the bus. Yet believe a third world government, notorious for corruption.

Al qaeda said the US did 911 to themselves and now we say the Mexicans shot their own kid to make the US look bad

The Israelis say ...much the same

The Brits didn't bomb Dresden and kill a hundred thousand in one night - the Nazis did it themselves to make the Brits look bad

I wonder where Japan got the bomb that they dropped on Hiroshima ?

etc etc

This stuff never changes and never will

Still it's worth bearing in mind as a tactic if the wife ever claims I slapped her - I just tell the court she is a self harmer

People....

I don't think they are denying that a US border patrol shot the kid.. what they are saying is that the video shows some Mexican police crossing over into the US and picking up something and bringing it back over..maybe the Mexicans were trying to make it look like the kid was shot on Mexican soil but who knows...

....

Now you are just being ridiculous.

We don't even know the details yet apparently US border protection = killers. Furthermore, interesting how the Mexican government would have an issue with the US authorities investigating. Perhaps, they think we will just take their word for it. Sorry Gringos, doesn't work that way with us.

What makes no sense is the fact that you are whole-heartedly saying that US agents do not go overboard when using force, when you know it has happened inside the US, not necessarily in its borders. I just saw a video from a pedestrian that was crossing into Mexico, and witnessed the beating that Anastasio got in San Ysidro, CA a couple of weeks ago. You can tell he is going through hell by his frantic screaming. He got shocked multiple times, when one jolt is enough to paralize a man. This coming from the San Diego Medical Examiner, who by the way ruled it a murder.

I seriously doubt the US encourages such hate into their agents, but give a weapon to a primate and see the bodies drop. This is not a US policy, it's who "enforces" said policies. It's just like the police officers that don't think outside the box, for example, a guy gets arrested because he was going to the hospital at a very high speed, because he was driving his brother to the ER... He was told he should have waited for an ambulance, and that my friends, is lack of common sense.

What would the corrupt government of Mexico gain by lying about it all, when the American people have witnessed it. Rodney King ring a bell???

It's disingenuous yet so American to assume every and any situation is some sort of Rodney King equivalent.

That is a border and not a place for a teenager to #### around. Let alone throw anything at foreign law enforcement. Had he done that to Mexican cops, he'd have suffered a much worse fate and you know that.

One man, unarmed, outnumbered, against tactically trained people... Really? Do you expect me to dismiss it and not compare it? Again, sir. I do not agree with illegal immigration, and I also feel strongly about the use of EXCESSIVE force against a human being. Let's say hmmm yup, he crossed illegally...ok... Uh, he is being combative, ok bring the tasers, and jolt him once to paralyze him. Get em on a van, dump his #### back in his country, but he never made it back did he?

You seem to know a lot (not really) about the Mexican government, I am amazed. Yes he would have gotten the ####### beaten out of him, but killed? Not really.
