Wow! I'm glad I saw this post. Ours got moved a couple of weeks ago to CSC too, I was feeling kind of negatively about it, but now I'm relieved! I think I need to spend some more time around the boards.

about a month ago ours was sent to the CSC. so you say that no interview will be needed if its processed at CSC? i have a question as well, my wife will be traveling back to Belarus for about a month or maybe a bit more to help out in some family matters. will this pose a problem for AOS? we have an approved AP already.

hi i hope yours will be a good news.

heres mine situation:

Hi, mine was filed in chicago on November 25, 2009 then it was transferred to california service center on december 23, 2009. exactly 6 months when i called the customer service line and they told me my application is outside of processing time then they gave me a service id number and told me to wait within 5 days for a letter for me to received from them to tell me about whats going on about my application, then it was over then i called again they told me to wait 45 days for them to process my application, and i cant wait that long, so now i already made the infopass and i will have to talk to immigration officer on June 17 in louisville field office because i want them to give me a details and whats really happening.

it sound unfair for those who wait for almost 6 months and keep us waiting.

Yeah I've been kind of worried too on what would be the outcome of the case transferred to CSC. Everything was going smoothly, my I-485 been touched 2x just after the transfer. Praying it was a good sign. It's a drag to wait too long. That's good you decided to do the infopass. I hope they will be able to resolve the problem regarding your GC issuance. How was your AP and EAD by the way, did you able to get it sooner ?

I know there is a way on uscis.gov to check status, but that hasn't changed, it is still in initial review. And I believe there is also a way to check

what date of paperwork the field office is actually working on right now. Does anyone know how? And also how did you know that they had touched it two times???
