AOS case transferred to CSC!

hi, My wife applied in Dec 2009, here case was transferred to the CSC in January, and we are also still waiting. How do I go about checking on things?

I know there is a way on uscis.gov to check status, but that hasn't changed, it is still in initial review. And I believe there is also a way to check

what date of paperwork the field office is actually working on right now. Does anyone know how? And also how did you know that they had touched it two times???

I know that my case has been touched based on the "last updated" date reflected on my case portfolio.

hi, updating may AOS application, i just checked it on USCIS site and it said that on June 9, 2010 they order the card production for my greencard and allow 30 days to mail it to me, im so happy for this, hopefully it will come before the end of 30 days, i will cancel now my appointment on louisville field office. i will be very happy if i really received it on my hands...

I just got the same letter today. We mailed the application a month ago. I was a little confused because my biometric is only next week but now I'm relieved. Yay!

My case was filed in Novemver and transfered to the CSC in Feb (5 months ago now) and we're still waiting. It has been 8 months total. I check my stats online and it still has not changed from Initial Review. It's extremely frustraiting. Especially when you see people whom have filed after you and have their GC in their hand already (no offence to anyone who has theirs, I'm very happy for you). I think it all has to do with whom is reviewing your case. Overall, you should be happy. It's great news Even if it ends up being a longer time frame, I find no interview and hopes of a faster processing time comforting.

You should call USCIS and contact your congressman. Your application has passed over the processing time (90 days previously).

I didn't know that there was a 90 day processing time for the AOS applications/Green Card. I was told that the green card process can take 12-18 months (Thats the time frame my attorneys gave me). I was seeing that other people here on VJ were getting approved way earlier than that...so thats why I have been looking into it. How would I got about doing that?
