Recommend CNN reports that Dutchman Joran van der Sloot has been arrested in Santiago, Chile, as a suspect in the killing in Peru.

Van der Sloot was linked, but never charged, in connection with the 2005 disappearance of Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway in Aruba.

If he committed this awful crime, and it appears like he did, the rest of his life is not going to be pleasant in a Peruvian prison, especially given that he is a foreigner. I do hope for a fair trail...if on the off chance that he is not responsible, I hope that whoever is gets punished. Earlier today there were a lot of rumors, even on CNN, that he had committed suicide and that his body had been found in northern Chile.

I was wondering how this young guy manages to travel around to a poker tournament no less. If true, the Holloways have been played from the beginning to the bitter end. Pay the guy you think murdered your kid so you can recover the body or find out what happened to her body. I couldn't do it thinking this guy is was making crime pay and having a good time.

I guess it's why they call it blood money.
