Awww, I'm sorry Aneudy. If we could get a refund of all the money we spend in this process, we would probably be able to fly our loved ones in first class!

I am refusing to call NVC again until NEXT Wednesday! That is when I'm expecting a case complete. Now if someone would just tie my hands up until next Wed so I can't grab the phone...

I'm not going to call for a long time, until July 1st!

How soon before you can do medical exam?

How many Photograph?

After interview how they return the passport to you?

Any other suggestion about interview would be appreciated.

I called up NVC a little while ago and the AVR updated to say that my case was forwarded to the Mumbai Consulate on May 28th...ahhhh, finally done with calling NVC and listening to the AVR messages...goodbye NVC! :)

April 8, 2010 - AOS packet sent

April 9, 2010 - AOS packed delivered to NVC via express mail

April 10, 2010 - AVR updated to reflect AOS packet received

April 19, 2010 - IV Fee Bill paid online

April 20, 2010 - AVR updates to awaiting DS230 package

May 3, 2010 - Mailed DS-230 and all docs required with it via express mail

Thanks! The funny thing is I called up NVC and spoke to a operator to find out if my case was forwarded to the consulate or possibly when. The rude operator tells me, "your case was just scheduled on monday, it won't be weeks until your case is forwarded." Hmmmmmm, doesn't seem to be the case, why is it that none of these people are ever on the same page?? well enough of that! I hope that more cases will be scheduled this week and more SIF. Good luck everyone!

I was told last night by operator that my case was complete and waiting for the interview to be scheduled beginning June 7th. Do you guys think my husband and I have a shot at a July interview?
