Let me know as well, though I doubt they do unless you're filing for expedited filing (upcoming deployment). I've been looking at that as well so I'll keep an eye on this post.

Here's a link for the military area of the USCIS.gov website:

I retired in 2005 and did not submit any military records for the I 129 process. But...

I did a CRBA at HCM for our son and had to list everywhere I lived for more than one month to include deployments to all the fun places Uncle Sugar has to offer.

When we did Linh's AOS I made copies of her ID card as part of the evidence pile.

If you are still on AD, contact JAG. They should be able to guide you through the process.

Thank you for the input. I was honorably discharged many years ago. Good luck on your AOS,my prayers are with you!

We didn't include my husband's military records (we're doing CR1). He is still active. We thought it was only the beneficiary who had to supply military records and not the USC. They've not requested his records at any stage either. I think if you request an expedite you'd have to send a copy of the current orders and for the AOS to show employment and income you'd have to provide the LES'.

OUR JOURNEY SO FAR: (dd/mm/yyyy)

18/09/09 - CR1 NOA1

16/07/10 - POE LAX (256 days NOA1 to interview)

27/09/10 - Aussie/American bun in the oven due May 10, 2011

06/01/11 - Submitted change of address online to USCIS. Mailed I-865 for sponsor. Neverending!

05/05/11 - Bouncing baby boy arrives

10/07/12 - Sent I-751

13/07/12 - I-751 NOA1

simple answer... NO

Thank you,but I wonder if the same applies to the consulate in HCMC,Vietnam. They seem to have rules of their own.

what if i send my militry records with i-29f? would be an issue?

The USCIS will look at them and then simply ignore them

Thank you,but I wonder if the same applies to the consulate in HCMC,Vietnam. They seem to have rules of their own.

But the I-129F is reviewed by the USCIS not HCMC.... If you want HCMC to review them then submit them to them at the time of the interview.

YMMV

No.

Depending how much there is it may increase the postage.

They are absolutely not necessary and will not help your case in any way. Sending truckloads of unnecessary information will make no difference. They are not needed, put them away.
