Yah - that type of church is cool, but I think if I got it, I'd turn the cathedral area into a special effects (FX) capture studio (that's a lot of internal height, can hold lots of lofted gear).

I bought a church 2 years ago, revamped it - is 4 stories with basement - I have space in the upper 2 stories, the lower levels are rented out for office space. My wife wants me to sell it, for some strange reason.. I only blow through there, though, about once a month when I'm in country.

Blairsville is a quiet place, I did some research way prior to posting this - I'd have a transportation problem for raw materials, but trucks roll in and outta there, plus the railroad is still active. I like the concept of having a wide-ish river nearby to blow off some steam, though.

Church and the school properties looked good. But I don't know about the this apartment one, the seller info has nothing on him/her, I am always concerned about those kind of sellers.

I saw so many cheap properties in Ohio and Penn... suck that I amso far from there as Iwouldnotwant to have that long a distance between myself andmy asset...

ya - that one is weird - there are back taxes owed, and the new buyer must pay them. #######? but - it's still do-able.
