okay, we're in process of our aos/ead papers and we got a letter for a biometrics appointment.

um....as far as we know, this has already been done before my wife left her home country, so why is this being done again?

we're going along with it and not fighting it only because i need an excuse to visit New Orleans again for a few beers on Bourbon St. .....oh and the fun of seeing ta-tas on bourbon st. at night too. lol.

we're open minded so no need for the rebut comments.

Make sure when you go they do the biometrics for the I-765 & I-485 or you could have to do it again

and you will also do it again in two years when removing conditions.... and again if she decides to naturalize or if not again if you ever need a replacement card or a renewal

It's kinda like a confirmation that she's her.. if that makes sense, that's how I look at it. She had her prints taken already so they confirm it's actually her and in case anythings changed etc.

Everyone does it. It's not a big deal. Mine took MAYBE 15 mins so have fun the rest of the day exploring New Orleans :D
