Visa Approved, But Few Doubts

Hey there folks, My fiance got his visa in hand yesterday. They gave my fiance a brown package to be handed over to the POE. my fiance received the package but noticed a slit on the side of the package revealing the top of the documents inside. The package is however sealed on both the ends. My fiance asked the VO who was there on his interview if this is normal as there is a opening on the Corner right of the package showing the top of the documents inside. The VO said she can see it and thats the procedure of packaging.

Please provide your insight on this. Is this True?

The package with the slit kind of looks like a folder. Please help me before i make this trip. Please be also noted that my fiance showed the package to the VO and she said this is the procedure for the brown envlope with the slit on the corner right of the envelope which shows the files inside but sealed on both the ends so that the files cant be taken out.

Please be also noted that my fiance showed the package to the VO and she said this is the procedure for the brown envlope with the slit on the corner right of the envelope which shows the files inside but sealed on both the ends so that the files cant be taken out. Everything else is fine with the instruction on the envlope saying DONT OPEN and Hand it over to the POE. One end is sealed using a revealing tape and the other end is sealed with adhesive.

Only issue is of the corner right side of the envelope which has a slit on it which makes the package look like a folder show the top tip of the files inside but the files cant be taken out through that.

Ok i did some more research and found that some people from india who received the brown package also had my same situation. The right phrase to put it as, THE BROWN PACKAGE HAS BEEN CLIPPED ON ONE CORNER. Any Insights?

I have seen this being mentioned more and more lately. Ours was completely sealed but things are not done the same way everywhere!

It is normal. Mine was literally opened after 2 16-hour flights total and a 20-hour layover. The CPB asked me if I opened it and I said it was just slightly ripped and it must got opened in my carry-on bag. Everything went just fine!

We got our visa last week and it looks the same with a slit on one corner. Don't sweat over it.

Interview: May 4 (Approved)

Visa in Hand: May 7
