my checklist says.list all the places you have lived since reaching age 16.do not have a gap for more than six months.can someone explain better.i do not understand it at all,iwill apprecite if you can use illustrations or examples

So basically as long as you have lived in one place more than 6 month since you were 16 you must list it. e.g Lagos Jan 08-July 08, Abuja July 08-Current...etc

You put the exact amount of time you stayed in each place.

Yes guys, you need to list ALL places that you have lived for morethan 6 months.

yeah if you lived there at LEAST 6 months, list it. if less than 6 you do not need to list it. or you can just list everything.

example:

NYC 01-1996 - 05-1999

Chicago 06-1999 - 08-2004

Los Angeles 11-2004 - PRESENT

I would say state each and every city.

You live in a city, town or hamlet of a state. So list each City, town or ? individually regardless of what state they are in. Its about where you put your head down at night. Then make sure you have a Police certificate for the appropriate authority at each of those cities.

Each city and state, country as noted on the form is sufficient and it is crucial that there are no gaps in your dates. Good luck!

All of your time must be accounted for. See the example posted above:

NYC 01-1996 - 05-1999

Chicago 06-1999 - 08-2004

Los Angeles 09-2004 - PRESENT

You should not put:

NYC 01-1996 - 03-1998

Chicago 06-1999 - 06-2003

Los Angeles 08-2004 - present

That leaves gaps between 03/98 and 06/99 and the 06/03 and 08/04.
