I sent the AOS for myself, wife, and kids on the 1st of May and received last week the notice for all of us to take biometrics on June 9. So I guess the process only continues after the fingerprints & photo's, or are other checks done on their side in the meantime?

Hi ValerieA,

I'm no expert, but I think they go through everything and make sure they have all they need, and do background checks, while they are waiting for your biometrics. Here's to you having a smooth journey!

Great forum...just sent off my papers today! Has anyone gotten their EAD as yet and how long did it take?

04/09/2010 - Got Married

05/19/2010 - Papers filed

05/27/2010 - Receipt Notices

06/16/2010 - Biometrics Completed

06/27/2010 - Payment resent after error on my part

06/30/2010 - Case resumed processing and transferred to NBC
