I like to see everyone's positive attitude here... as well as the cool dancing lol This group has been really helpful. I'm glad to see people from other forums coming to this one for ideas, advice, or help.

We don't have that much proof either, mostly because we just take it as it comes with changing stuff  But we have a joint savings account (that we don't really use), joint renters insurance, lease & renewal of lease, photos from the beginning of our relationship until now (only like 5-6 from the marriage ceremony since we'll have our big wedding next year) hmmm...what else...we're trying to get a family cell phone plan but AT&T are the slowest idiots ever!! Our cable, Internet & utilities all said there could only be one name on the contract/bill. We don't have health- or life insurance and have seperate car insurances (I might try to change that before the interview though). Maybe you can get a friend, neighbor or family member to write an affidavit? I will ask our neighbors to do that for us.

I need advice guys

We apply our paperworks with our in law address ( where my husband used to live) as we are not sure of our current address incase we moved etc.

I am listed at our current lease but our address on file is with my in law address.

Our houses are like 30 minutes a way, the same state

and we thought its safer to use our in law address where we partially live most weekend.

We basically live in two houses and my in law said they will say we live in both houses affadavit letter

Well this is so complicated because according to the law, we have to change address if we move

so should I tell the truth or just use our in law address

Hi, we are also adjusting from B1/B2, but we have joint checking account, gas/electric bill, cable bill, and insurance card has both our names on it. We did not need the EAD or social security number for these things, at least in NYC.

We did the same thing essentially. We moved about a week before we filed, and weren't sure then how long we're going to be here. So we had my parents' house listed as our address, but my mom and I both wrote that we were living in Atlanta and why we kept their address as our mailing address. But then when they remailed us a copy of the RFE, they sent it to our current address so I went ahead and changed it to our current one. I'm really not sure how this is all going to impact us with the addresses - apparently someone else did this and they thought they weren't really living together. So, I don't really have much advice, but I'm also curious. I'm hoping they'll be somewhat lenient since I was in school and we're just figuring things out. I think, though, that it's best just to be honest about what you're doing though - better that so you can explain things easily rather than having to think up justifications as you go.

We're also adjusting from a B2. We don't have a ton, though we'll probably have more by the time we get our interview. We're going to submit: Wedding cards, postcards to the two of us, anything addressed to either of us at the same address, all the itineraries from where we traveled together, a lot of pictures - of us in different places, me with his family, him with my family, our phone bill (the one joint bill). Hopefully he'll be on my bank account by then. Our living situation is kind of unique (essentially, we're housesitting for people we don't know for 2 years while they're in China...) so we don't have a written lease or anything of that sort. We've submitted an affidavit from my mom, and we're going to get one from his mom too, hopefully.

You can just write a letter. Or put it in affidavit format. So, one way to format it might be to do something like this:

Top: Affidavit of [name of person]

I, [name of person], hereby state and depose the following:

[body of statement. this is typically done in numbered paragraphs.]

Then: I, [name], state this ______ day of _______ 2010 that the above statement is true and correct to the best of my information and belief.

Then sign & date it under that.

Yep, what Leigh Ann said :) And remember, notarized notarized notarized.

We also don't have a bunch of evidence due to the fact that I'm on college campus with no SSN, so we'll have to do the best we can. If that means getting 50 affidavits (I swear we will) then heck.

Got a silly question,if I filed my AOS on May 17th and case resumed processing on June 30, would my date of filing be considered June or May in USCIS terms?

My case got resumed processing on June 30 and its been 3 weeks and nothing. I know this forum has a good omen because I see ppl come on here and voila, PROGRESS! So hope the good vibes pass on to me.

Btw, the enthusiasm and helpfulness of everyone on this board is EXCELLENT!

It's still May. They suspended processing until the RFE was sent back, but your date of filing is still in May.

We have very similar timelines. :)

I'm thinking about bringing my school loan documents to our interview..

Hubby co-signed a private student loan with me and I thought that would be a good evidence of co-mingling of our finances.

I'm just wondering though.. as an F-1 student I had to complete a declaration of finances showing I had enough for tuition and living expenses..

so I'm a little afraid that showing USCIS that I took out a loan for tuition would be a bad thing.

What do you guys think? Should I include the loan as part of our evidence or leave it out?

I'm getting a little nervous now that the interview is only 5 days away..
