We sent no evidence or photos with our application. The only proof of marriage was the marriage certificate. The file was transfered to California and the green card was issued without an interview. Many K1s don't interview for AOS.

Should you have an interview, then that would be the appropriate time to take evidence of joint living and pictures. At least take a photo with the Justice of the Peace and your witnesses, or our outside the courthouse just to document the day. And remember the requirement is to marry in 90 days, not to throw an expensive wedding. It will be fine.

I agree we did the same thing and our case was transferred.

I thought the I-130 required evidence of bonafide marriage, thats why I sent a lot of stuff. Besides many VJers believe that if you send in enough evidence now, the IO who might preview your file would not request anything more for their files, making the interview go smoothly.

Many VJers have sent in tons of evidence with their initial application, with no problems. I disagree that if you send in a lot of stuff now it will make you look guilty.

I tend to agree with this line of thinking.

Before I look any further down... the I-130 has NOTHING TO DO with filing AOS from a family based visa. This is the wrong forum for that.

**Edited to add -- okay it looks like everyone else covered this. :) Good luck OP.

We are in the same situation. On top of that, there aren't even any pictures from the actual ceremony. Just one of me and my husband in the restaurant afterwards.

Our plans to go to Vegas and have a cool ceremony and pictures for our family failed because of... the Army. :(

I hope we won't have any troubles. But I believe the Interview person has enough common sense to understand that it's not that easy to have your whole family there. And of course it's alot easier to have a great celebration when all the worries about visa and green card are long gone. That's what we want to do and this is what I'm going to tell the person.

Good luck to you!
