I am a full-time student, so I make less than $10,000 in three years. Luckily, my parents are sponsoring my wife but they have three huge mortgages: $300,000 for the first home loan, $86,000 for the second home loan, and $32,000 for a new car. They make around $74000 a year. Do you guys think it will be a problem when USCIS looks at this?

Their home mortgages/loans don't factor into it unless the house needs to be used as an asset? Car loan isn't an issue. There isn't a credit check.

How do they earn their income? Self employed? Work for a salary? How many dependents do they have?

My brother is 19 and I am 24, so they don't have any dependent.

One of them needs to have income of $22,887 to sponsor a household of 3 (parents + your spouse) if your income is zero.

Only one of them completes the I-864 and uses their individual income even if they submit joint tax returns.

03/21/2009 - I-130 Mailed to Chicago lockbox

11-30-09: GOT GREEN CARD in mail!!!!!!

Citizenship Process;

1/11/2013: Mailed N400 to Dallas Texas

3/11/2013: interview.. Approved

4/4/2013. : Oath! Now a U.S. citizen!

Its not the age of the children that determines whether they are a dependent or not. Isn't the determinant the fact that they are claimed as dependent(s) on income tax filings? If so, the size of household, for the co-sponsor increases to the parents+dependents+spouse doesn't it?

How do they earn their income? Self employed? Work for a salary? How many dependents do they have?

"Parents" as in "they" cannot be the joint sponsor. A parent can be THE joint sponsor. If that parent's individual income is sufficient, they may simply leave all asset related information blank. See the word "optional" as that section begins.
