Hi everyone. We're almost ready to start "our journey" and my fiance has a couple of doubts about question 11 of I-129 F ("Have you ever filed for this or any other alien fiance(é) or husband/wife before?").

a) An I-130 (petition for spouse) was filed for his former wife in the past, so does he have to state "Yes" even though it was another kind of visa?

b) About ex-wife's Alien registration number, where can he find it? (I mean, in which document)

1) Didn't the I-130 K-3 filing also require an I-129F submission. I think it does. That is why on question 11 they ask for husband/wife as well as alien fiance(e). So I think it is yes.

2) The A# can be found on the NOA2 from his first petition.

Thanks a lot! He said that's what happens when you hire a lawyer to fill out forms and do all the procedure on your behalf, as he did a long time ago. It's been better to do it by ourselves even though it takes some time. This website has been really a great help to us.

a. Yes. Because it says "this or any OTHER" and "WIFE".

b. as stated, on the NOA2 from the previous filing.
