I haven't eaten at KFC in years. I like to get my chicken at our local "Portuguese" BBQ. It's actually owned and operated by Brazilians and I'm told it's Brazilian but for some reason out here in the burbs they feel the need to call themselves Portuguese.

Nandos?

I don't even know what that means?

Nandos is a Portuguese chicken chain with branches throughout the world. I thought maybe by now they had invaded your particular part of Jersey, but I see from their website (http://www.nandosperiperi.com/index.cfm) that their only US presence is in Washington DC. They used to have outlets throughout Israel. The chicken is so-so, but their peri-peri sauces are really good.

No, there's a town near me with a sizable central/south american population, and a bunch of "Portuguese" BBQ joints have popped up serving Brazilian food. Some of them are freakin' awesome.

Never hint about KFC. Always be literal. If you're going to eat this chazzerai, you should at least know exactly what's in it.
