I keep seeing on everyone's timelines "sign in fail" what does this mean? And where do you "sign in"?

06.22.2005: met

08.14.2009: engaged

12.04.2009: married

USCIS

12.08.2009: sent 1-130

12.17.2009: touched

12.19.2009: recieved NOA1

03.02.2010: recieved NOA2 via email

03.08.2010: recieved hardcopy NOA2

NVC

03.12.2010: case number assigned

03.15.2010: AOS and IV paid

04.05.2010: received husband's police check in America

04.07.2010: sent I-864 and DS-230

04.23.2010: received RFE email

05.03.2010: sent in correction

05.11.2010: NVC entered documents into their system

05.20.2010: received another checklist letter - need more information about prior visas

05.20.2010: sent in checklist

05.28.2010: NVC entered documents into their system

06.09.2010: SIF

06.09.2010: case complete

06.11.2010: interview date assigned

Embassy

06.22.2010: medical

07.02.2010: interview :) APPROVED

hi englandusa sign is failed mean your case has been complete and you wait for your visa interview

But where do you sign in ...... what website .......which log in ID do you use ?

07-02-2020 - I-130 SENT
06-01-2021 - APPROVED

NVC
06-06-2021 - Recevied NVC case no. - case entered into nvc's system

06-08-2021 - AOS fee
06-08-2021 - IV fee
07-05-2021 - IV & AOS documents submitted online

07-19-2021 - received message from NVC about case can not be processed unless all civil documents are submitted (was missing police clearance)

08-12-2021 - submitted police clearance certificate - which was last document submitted to NVC

11-05-2021 - Case completed at NVC - DQ

03-31-2022 - Interview letter received

04-28-2022 - Interview date at mumbai embassy

It's the NVC payment portal site - after your AOS & IV bills are paid and all of the required paperwork is sent in, you wait - your first notice that your case is complete is when you go back to that payment portal site and are unable to sign in.

Marriage : 2009-06-30

CSC: 155 days

I-130: 2009-10-01

NOA1: 2009-10-15

NOA2: 2010-03-05

I-129F: 2009-10-16

NOA1: 2009-10-23

NOA2: 2010-03-05

NVC: 60 days

Case #: 2010-03-11

AOS Paid: 2010-03-15

IV Bill Paid: 2010-03-24

Package Sent: 2010-03-29

AVR says received: 2010-04-02

RFE: 2010-04-13

Sign in Fail: 2010-05-10

CONSULATE: 17 days

After sending in all your packagses, wait 8-11 days or so and then try to sign in to the payment portal.

When you're no longer able to sign in, it means that NVC has completed processing your case.

Confirm with the AVR/NVC operator.

03/27/2009: Engaged in Ithaca, New York.
08/17/2009: Wedding in Calcutta, India.
09/29/2009: I-130 NOA1
01/25/2010: I-130 NOA2
03/23/2010: Case completed.
05/12/2010: CR-1 interview at Mumbai, India.
05/20/2010: US Entry, Chicago.
03/01/2012: ROC NOA1.
03/26/2012: Biometrics completed.
12/07/2012: 10 year card production ordered.

09/25/2013: N-400 NOA1

How long after this will they take before sending the DOCS to the embassy? do you guys know?. I seen the DHL tracking blog but I'm just wondering

A few days I suppose, unless the DHL plane is grounded in Europe.

05-19-2010 - NVC Case Completed - Sign In Fail

05-25-2010 - Interview Date Assigned.

Consulate:

07-19-2010 - Interview at New Delhi - Approved!

07-20-2010 - Visa Package collected from VFS

07-26-2010 - POE at Washington DC

08-19-2010 - Welcome Letter Received - Tracking Number reveals that GC was ordered on August 16

08-23-2010 - Applied for SSN at SSA

08-30-2010 - GC, SSA Card Arrive in Mailbox
