The waiting game is so frustrating!!! We received our noa2 on 2010-09-21, its now 2010-11-10 and we haven't heard anything from nvc.

Right now I'm living in limbo, I've been living with my parents but as of dec 20 there is someone moving into my old bedroom and I will have to sleep on a couch in the basement and will have to find storage for my belongings. I've been trying to spend as much time as possible on vacation with my husband in Ohio but last time I crossed the border I was almost denied entry and the border patrol suggested I stay in Canada for a while. This is so frustrating!!! And with the holiday season approaching knowing we are all so close to the end of the visa timeline and instead of getting easier I'm feeling more and more stressed!

So when people say contact NVC, what does that mean? What number should i call them up at?

Should i call them and ask "Have you received my case from the California Service Center?" and what is the reference number i need to use? (Is it the Receipt number on the NOA1?)

I put in an inquiry and the response i got was that my case is being abjucated.

I really appreciate all you guy's help.

Thanks,

Talib
