Hello there! :)

I just got a NOA saying that my AOS case got transferred from Chicago to the California Service Center - is that a good thing, a bad thing or it doesn't matter? Next week I have to go take my biometrics I hope this thing doesn't change anything... :help: please!

Thank you

Mine was also transfered today...lets hope for no interview!

I wonder how they decide which cases to transfer? Do they do it to try and spread the caseloads between centers? I mean, if they don't ask for evidence with the initial filing, how can thry really tell if it will be easy to process or not need an interview?

moved from Working and Travellling Before Getting a Green Card to AOS forum as relates to AOS process

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
