Hi everyone! I'm new to this board.

I came to the US on an F1 visa and am now adjusting due to marriage to USC.

I sent my complete AOS package by priority mail last Tuesday (March 6th) , so it should have arrived by Friday.

I requested E-notification however I haven't received a receipt email yet!

for anyone else who has done this, how long does it usually take just to receive a notice that they got it?

04/08/2010 AOS package received Chicago Lockbox (DAY 1)

04/15/2010 Touch [i-765.I-465.I-130] (DAY 8)

04/17/2010 NOA's received (DAY 10)

04/19/2010 Touch [i-765.I-465.I-130] (DAY 12)

Its a gamble, but maybe your right, maybe waiting for the whole thing and then submitting it all together could have taken later then getting a RFE and submitting it now. Well be sure to go to a civil

for anyone else who has done this, how long does it usually take just to receive a notice that they got it?

If you mailed it last Tuesday, then it was probably April 6th and not March 6th.

The E-Notification usually takes about 8-10 days following delivery. So if it was delivered on the April 9th, I would anticipate the NOA arriving around April 17th to April 19th. The hard NOAs arrive within 3 days after they send you the email.

04/02/2010: AOS I-130, I-485 and I-765 mailed by UPS 2nd Day Air

04/06/2010: Delivered, Signed by Chiba (Day 1)

04/13/2010: Checks cashed, NOAs received via email and text (Day 7)

04/19/2010: Hard NOAs for I-130, I-485 and I-765 received (Day 13)

04/23/2010: Biometrics Appointment received (Day 17)

05/04/2010: RFE for I-864 received (Day 28)

05/06/2010: RFE for I-864 mailed back (Day 30)

05/12/2010: Case processing resumed (Day 36)

05/14/2010: Biometrics Appointment, I-485 and I-765 touched (Day 38)

05/17/2010: I-485 and I-765 touched (Day 41)

06/08/2010: EAD card production ordered (Day 63)

If you mailed it last Tuesday, then it was probably April 6th and not March 6th.

hello again here!

so it's official, I sent my package half an hour ago. The person at the post office told me the package would be there by thrusday.

Now I gess that i just have to wait!

Thanks to the people that created and feed this forum that was a great help for us in the process. I will keep you posted on my time lines (that i just updated)

No , I just saw 2 receipt numbers on the back of each check. But they are not available online yet.

I read about e-notification but I believe you need to fill out a particular form. I decided to go old-fashion way.

I have a random question, how do you guys make available your journey to others. For instance, Alla and Narkati at the end of their messages on this forum display all dates of this process - when documents were sent, documents received, etc.

You go to "Settings" in the upper right corner, then "Profile" and "Change Signature".

Did you see your receipt numbers on the back of the checks?

I meant number out of 3 letters and 10 digits. It's called receipt number. For example MSC1023456789.
