As for the return receipt, if you paid $40, there must be a way to track your package. I went through USPS Express and I could track my package. It is guaranteed to arrive the next day at noon. I tracked the package the whole next day. It showed as having arrived in Chicago, but not as having been delivered. But the next morning, it showed as having been delivered at 9:22 on the previous day, and I could view delivery confirmation. There was no signature on the delivery confirmation, only a stamp and the 121 Dearborn address written by hand.

I don't think return receipt is necessary if you can track your package.

If you didn't sign your husband's papers, just have them ready to send as soon as you see that you are getting an RFE.

hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii everyone and let me tell u this is a great idea because im going totally ballistic over here thinking of what i did wrong while filing

anyway ASSAMU ALEIKUM to all myy sisters and bros

so i sent my AOS I 130 485 I 765 I 864 I 131 G325 A BUT NOW i think about it i forgot to sign for my husband i think

he is deployed so i had to do it all

i sent thm on the 19th and it should be received onn the 21th wednesday

the mistake i made is that ive noticed all of you guys recommended for it to be signed and i didnt request it

they freaking charged me 40 dollars to send in 2 days

anyway at this point i ll pay any price for it

any military wives here?

anyway lets share our journey together im thinking all of us deserve to get what we want ...and lets pray for each other because i know this is a beginning to us being able to achieve anything we have in mind

I Received my Biometrics letter last night and did a walk in St. Paul , MN , around 11:30AM, It was really fast, took me 15 min.

I-130, I-485, I-765 sent

Timeline:

04/02/2010 - Sent to Chicago Lockbox

04/06/2010 - Packet Delivered

04/13/2010 - Acceptance confirmation received by e-mail for all 3 forms

04/14/2010 - Checks cashed

04/17/2010 - NOA1 received

04/21/2010 - Biometrics letter for 05/13/10

04/22/2010 - Walk-in Biometrics done

Because...I don't know, something I didn't signed (I think it's the affidavit of support, because I was sure I woudn't have to sign it...whatever)

Yep I had it all today in the mail... i'm heading to my hubby's work to make him sign the I 130 (he signed the "who prepared the form" box instead of the box he was supposed to sign ...that is why they sent everything back!!
