Haven't got biometrics letter...

My NOA1 date is Mar. 17. From what I read most people got their biometrics letter just a couple days after they got NOA1. But it has been 2 weeks for me and there wasn't any touch to my cases since Mar. 18. I wanted to be patient but couldn't help getting upset... Anyone had the same situation?

That last touch was probably them generating your biometrics letter. I got my biometrics letter last Thursday, and my NOA date was the day before yours. Do you live in a rural area? That may slow it down a little it.

Thanks for the reply. No I don't live in rural area, and I got my NOA1 hard copies in 3 days on 20th. Sigh...

The biometrics letter comes after up to 30 days of NOA1. And as far as I see the most common period is 2 weeks later. I didn't get mine until the last day of the 30 day period, and only because we called and told them that they are running behind schedule. Funny thing is that they told us that they are backed up and there are too many people in this area, but when we went to do biometrics (walked in on the 3rd instead of 25-ish as scheduled) the center was empty.

So relax and wait. Even with a late biometrics letter it still took us less than 3 months to get an approval.

I called today because we have been waiting awhile to. The customer service rep kept saying that the timeframe was 30 days from receipt.. then he started to tell me NOA1 was the receipt date even though the I797 says received 11/12. I finally got a supervisor and she agreed that we are 2 days from the 30 days. We will call first thing Monday morning if it doesn't arrive by then.

Our VisaJourney started July 2009 when I mailed the 129-F

GC received in the mail 10-Jun-2010

My NOA date is March 25 and I haven't gotten anything either... Val, I noticed in your timeline:

01/04/2010 All 3 NOA received dated 12/30

01/14/2010 Applied for expedite, I-130 and I-765 touched

How did you manage to get your I-765 expedited when it hasn't even been 30 days yet? I need my EAD really really soon, and would love to know how to do that!

Thanks!
