Hello, i'm currently a US perm resident and i wish to bring my dad for a few months, as far as i've seen on the forum it can be done using I-130? but i need more details on what exactly is required to get this running, i've been here for over 2 years, married and all with K1 everything went great no problems at all in anything that was filled, my dad is still married, he is on my birth certificate umm, i dont know what else there could be thats why i need some help. If anyone can help with this issue i'd appreciate it very much.

Oh, and the link to USCIS says that the I-130 is for kids/bothers/sister?? nothing for parents so i'm confused.

not true, as they said, only a UC citizen can petition for a parent and that's not for a few months, it's for the residency, the GC just like you to become a permanent resident and live in the US.

the only thing there is for a few months is a tourist visa and they have to do that, you can only invite them.
