Wooow, 8 days! Amazing!! Remember how crazy we were last month about the interview date? Can you believe we are sooo close now?

About me.... well, I try not to think about the interview too much, but sometimes I can't help. Every time I think about it my heart pops out and I can barely fell my legs. Don't wanna know how it would be at the interview. I hope I can at least pretend I'm fine. rofl.gif

I'm planning on having a lot of passion fruit juice for breakfast before the interview to calm down, hubby laughs at me. He says the worst thing it can happen is that they delay us for some reason, but it wouldn't kill us. But still! Visa's interview is always a visa interview. I remember how nervous I was for my J1.

Hubby is a very nice and relaxed person, I joke with him sometimes saying the world isn't purple as he thinks, but at the end I think he is right, I'm sure when all this is over I'll feel stupid for being so nervous! lol

Anyway, one week and a half to go! I'll be leaving to Rio on Monday the 10th. Gotta do my medical on Tuesday and be ready for the interview on Thursday!

God help us all!!!! girlwerewolf2xn.gif

Our husbands must be related. It's infuriating how calm he is. I'm freaking out over every little thing, and I'm not even the one that has to interview! headbonk.gif

P.S. If passion fruit juice really works, I think I'll buy about 20 gallons to get me to May 20th!

My FIL wrote an affidavit and he didn't notarize. I hope it will be ok. People say it's better to have it notarized, but I didn't want to give him trouble.

I'm going to bring one of my mom in Portuguese, my FIL and I'll ask another one to a friend of us.

You can bring as much as you want.

So guys, a question....

How are you planning to bring the papers to the Embassy for the interview?

I have a BIG folder with 12 divisions and 2 photo albums with about 300 pictures.

How do you guys think I should carry that? In a backpack? I know some consulates don't allow big bags, do you think I'll be fine with a backpack?

ps- I won't take any electronic though.

Hey dear, suitcases are not allowed in the consulate in BR. So I may use a laptop case and see if everything fits inside. lol

I don't have the letter on my computer, since he mailed it to us, but I know you can find a sample here on VJ. Check the 'example forms' link.

My mom didn't make hers yet, so I have no idea how it will be, I will see if I can find something in google. lol

I have a 20 pocket plastic accordion case, with each pocket labled with contents. It holds all my paperwork, as well as 2-4x6 photo albums. If they tell me I can't bring it in, then I can easily remove each leaf folder from its section and proceed that way...I think...
