Medical over. Report collected. Ended up having to take 3 darned vaccinations.

So for Mumbai, you can get the Medical as soon as your receive the interview letter?

Good morning VJ familia! Sach - happy your medical went smooth! Was informed by my husband that he will need to go all the way to Montego Bay for medical for exam and then have to go all the way back in order to pick up results. Thought they sent it to the embassy?? I think they purposely do this as a tactic to down those at a disadvantage. Its hard to get around enough IN town, let alone travel all over the forsaken island for goodness sake!!! He's so despressed about this- wondering how he will get the time off work for this... let alone the extra money for the exam. Those embassy docs charge visa applicant medical exams SO MUCH.. its extorsion. Plain and simple.. so- needless to say, Im a little down. Hubby now thinks maybe he will need to stay an extra couple months in Jamaica after the interview just so he can save up some money since he will be leaving the two kiddos there temporarily...

I booked four nights at suite at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for June 23-26 as a surprise to him. Was gonna take him there to watch the World Cup games. Kinda a lil anniversary present. I dont have the heart to tell him now. Heres a man that has spent 10 years working for a 5 star resort- catering to rich foreighner and never ever having the time or resources to afford the very rooms he cleans and manages. I wanted him to feel like a big shot for a couple days and finally reap a reward he has well deserved... oh well.

Anyone wanna go to vegas?

Tatyana--I emailed them at the email address that's on the "Contact Us" page but they never responded to it. The request was officially made by a Congressman's aide, they informed my husband that Bombay was booked solid and there was no way they could reschedule it. Bombay has actually been good about answering questions via phone but no response through emails.

Ok, just wanted to make sure because thats the email address I used. But that sucks! Hmmm, will see about maybe calling them but actually the times they say to call I am sleeping. Will have to make hubby call.

Keeping myself busy today w/scanning all evidence to hubby & the DS230/AOS packets. After I am done I will feel so relieved he got it all.

He got it so easy over there. All he has to do is go print them off.

Finally able to register for classes and check the e-mail from the advisor.

She says it's right. If you don't owe and can show extenuating circumstances if required, then you can hold off filing without requesting an extension. She says it's safer to request an extension. This does not exempt you from the filing requirement; it simply extends the due date to October 15. She warns that this may become an issue if you have problems with the IRS ever. It could look like a "history or inconsistent or late filing" which could cause difficulties for future extension requests or settlements. Other than that, standard eligibility rules apply.

No I won't be going. I wish I could but it would be hard to travel with Gisele & being she is a premie kind of risky to take her out the country so early. Going without her is not possible either. I would dying having to be away from her for even a day.

I mailed him her birth certificate, he has an album full of her pictures & I have already emailed him close to 3000 pictures if not more Its our first child, everything is exciting!
