Batta, good luck with the interview and your trip!

I'm sorry for the snow. Come on over to Arizona because it's in the 80's this weekend and beautiful! Jeanne, you crack me up with thinking 86 is worthy of a "Yikes!" I forget that you don't get quite as hot down in Tucson...close, but those extra 10-15 degrees up here make a huge difference.

I'm headed out to the market and to enjoy the weather a bit. I'll be talking with my husband in a couple of hours too and I can't wait to see him. :) I cannot believe how fast this week went and I cannot believe how much of it I spent on visa paperwork. UGH!!!!! But it's good I had the time off to concentrate on it. I go back and forth between being excited that we're almost done gathering everything for NVC and getting closer to getting an interview date and then feeling a sick, nervous feeling about the interview. More preparations are coming...but at least I can count the weeks now before I get to see my sweetie again. That will always be good news!

Have a great day everyone!

Hello Everyone! I'm pretty new to this Regional discussion area. It looks like most of you are close to finishing up with NVC...congrats. To me, all this paperwork feels like an online course! Always reading up and making sure I don't mess up the process...cuz it'll just add more time!

I live here in Northern Arizona, the weather here ranges from 30-58F today...not so bad, wish it was a bit warmer so I can start running and walking my dogs again. Not to mention this cold I had for more than a week is finally ending.

Im just happy for every day that goes by and happier for every week that goes by! I will be going to Egypt toward the end of May to visit my husband, and return August 2nd...hopefully we will be coming to Arizona soon after me!

Have a great day, and I look forward to getting to know you through this thread :)

Had a good day and also Top Gun was on tv tonight. I STILL love that movie and I must admit I prefer Tom Cruise in the days before the couch jumping! But was fun to watch the movie again.

I have a question on citizenship eligibility. Is it 3 years after your marriage or is it 3 years after they first arrive to the US?

I believe the requirements are : You have to still be married to the same person; 3 yrs from date of Greencard as long as you havent traveled out the USA... if you traveled out the country you have to add those days of being outside the USA to the 3 yrs. Hopefully someone else will come along and let me know if this is right.

and btw, my uncle is one of the navy men in the background in Top Gun. thats the only part of top gun I have ever seen bcz I dont like Tom Cruise.
