With my N400 I sent the G1145 notice with my email address and the cell phone number. Is it possible it does not work since I have already received my NOA but never received either an email or a text message.

Anyone else who used G1145 and actually received notices?

Yes, we filed the G1145 and received text messages (2) and email notices (2) before getting the NOA.

2/15/10 Sent N-400 packet via Fedex to Lewisville TX

2/19/10 Received text message and email notification of application received, check cashed

2/27/10 Received biometrics appointment letter

3/19/10 Biometrics appointment

3/25/10 Received email notice that case will be sent for interview scheduling at local office

3/26/10 Received yellow letter asking to being more tax records/info to interview

3/27/10 Received interview letter (dated 3/24/10)

4/28/10 Interview appointment

6/5/10 Received oath letter (dated 6/1/10)

6/29/10 Oath ceremony date

I ALSO FILLED OUT A G 1145 BUT NEVER HEARD ANYTHING SO I WENT TO USIS WEBPAGE AND SIGHED UP USING MY PIN NUMBER ON YOUR LETTER AND THEN CHECKED MY STATUS.THIS WAY IT WORKS.

Hey, what do you mean by "your" letter here. I already have an account with USCIS, but in order to check on the status of my application, I need to receive the NOA to get the receipt number. Is there some way around this? THANKS!

There is no way around this - you need a NOA that starts with NBC* (don't forget the *) before you can add a new case to your account or check the case status.

03 March 2010 - USCIS Acceptance Confirmation via e-mail and text message

06 March 2010 - received I-797C, Notice of Action/Receipt

01 April 2010 - Biometrics Appointment (Biometrics done 4/7/10)

27 April 2010 - received I-797C/ Request to Appear for Naturalization Interview

02 June 2010 - Interview schedule

17 June 2010 - Oath Taking (Memorial Auditorium, Sacramento, CA)

It work for me, I received the text and email message before I received my NOA letter. Same thing with my biometrics schedule.

When they send you your first text/email message, do thy include your receipt number, i.e. the same as the receipt number on the NOA?
