Check out the cats we recently adopted. We basically moved to a place that allowed pets. Chester arrived in December and Missy last month. Chester wasn't too pleased to start off but they are warming up to each other. I switched them to an all natural pet food they love and Both are fixed.

Chester: 8 years old, male and came from some friends that got a dog that didn't get along with him. He's a little neurotic but loving.

Missy: 2 years old, female, twice a mom (before I had her....she's fixed now), very social and purrs to the point of 'chirping'. She is from another friend that didn't have room for another cat.

I got them one of these so they can come and go as they please.... (not my actual windoor)

Aww - what cuties and how good of you to give them both a new home  Yuri tells me that Rooster is so excited to be able to go outside now the weather's better. So glad you have a cat-flap for them. Rooster was monstorously declawed at the shelter so he can't be allowed to go freely in and out :(

That just goes to show how big of a heart you have. They are precious!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I am a bit surprised that you didn't name the cats like Obama and Netanyahu or something

haha... I stuck to their given names. :)

They love the cat flap and I love not letting them in and out 50 times a day.

I love black cats.

It's so sad that they're one of the last colours to get adopted, people are too paranoid about superstitions!

Last time I went to the shelter there was more black cats than anything. I'd adopt one of them any day.

And I'm trying to convince my wife it's good luck to OWN a black cat.

your cats look adorable!

Superstitions centering around the black cat are some of the most well-known and popular superstitions today. It is interesting, though, because the good or bad luck they possess is dependent on where you live in the world. In Britain and Japan, having a black cat cross your path, is considered good luck
