Hey guys. I'm planning to send in my husband's DS-230 and civil documents by next week Tuesday. What month do you think my interview would be? :innocent:

7/12/2008 Filed I-130.

3/1/2010 Initiated Payment of IV Processing Fee says "IN PROCESS".

3/9/2010 IV Processing Fee says "PAID".

3/23/2010 DS-230 and civil documents FedExed to NVC.(should arrive 10:30 3/24)

3/24/2010 DS-230 and civil docs received by NVC. Signed by K. StLaurent.

04/05/2010 Case complete @ NVC according to AVR. Sign In Failed.

5/12/2010 Hubby's Going to get Medical Exam done.

5/13/2010 Med Exam should be completed and picked up.

5/14/2010 Our son and I are meeting Hubby in Barbados.

05/18/2010 Interview date. :( No yes, but no no either!

05/25/2010 I DHL'ed the I-160 waiver, hardship letter, I-864, and supporting documents to Barbados Embassy.

05/27/2010 Requested Documents DELIVERED to US Embassy in Barbados.

--/--/---- Documents (I-601 Waiver and Hardship Letter) DELIVERED to Homeland Security in Santo Domingo.

--/--/---- I-601 APPROVED...hopefully.

--/--/---- I received the approval letter.

--/--/---- US Embassy in Barbados request passport be sent to send back with visa.

--/--/---- Hubby receives VISA

After you send in your DS230, you need to wait 8-11 days before your case complete, barring any RFEs. Your interview will be scheduled according to your embassy's availability.

so, all depends on argentina embassy then?

once DS230 and AOS are entered into system/completed then we get scheduled for interview...

when it actually happens only has to do with embassy??

does this mean that we have a chance of a soon-ish interview as there aren't many IR/CR-1's from Argentina??

Yes, once your case is completed at NVC, you will be assigned a date for the interview. Usually 3-4 weeks from the assignment. However, that TOTALLY depends on how busy/available your embassy is.

Ghana, London, Canada, Dominican Republic seem to be severely backlogged. Might wait 2-3 months for an interview.

Count 8-11 BUSINESS days from the day NVC received your last package (whatever it might be--AOS/DS230/RFE) and then call the AVR/try to sign in. If your sign in fails, means your case is completed. Confirm with an operator and then wait for your interview to be scheduled.

oooo...yes! please do! that'd be great! i called nvc AGAIN and they haven't input it in the AVR yet. I know it was delivered Monday, but then again it is only Wednesday right? How much longer do you think I should wait 'til talking operator? I mean do they change the message to "nvc received info.." or do they only change it for when they actually put it in??
