I'm gunning for a may interview too!

CC on tuesday this week and I haven't heard anything about Stockholm being back-logged so I think I'm golden!

Here is my prediction... Since my Hubby was right about having a LIF on the 19th, I am going to state that our interview is going to be on May 12th :P Lets see

how do you login in to know whether you case is complete or not?

I logged into the payment portal and it said that Sign in Failed and the next day i called the NVC and my AVR msg said that my case was complete

03/25/2010: Called NVC .. INTERVIEW May 27 @ 7:45!! Woot Woot

05/27/2010: Approved at the interview, but put on AP afterwards :(

06/27/2010: Really missing my Hubby :*(

07/29/2010: Visa Issued!! AP is OVER!!

07/31/2010: Visa in hand!!! Thank you GOD!

09/01/2010: POE JFK

Yes, once your case is completed at NVC, you will be assigned a date for the interview. Usually 3-4 weeks from the assignment. However, that TOTALLY depends on how busy/available your embassy is.

Ghana, London, Canada, Dominican Republic seem to be severely backlogged. Might wait 2-3 months for an interview.

Count 8-11 BUSINESS days from the day NVC received your last package (whatever it might be--AOS/DS230/RFE) and then call the AVR/try to sign in. If your sign in fails, means your case is completed. Confirm with an operator and then wait for your interview to be scheduled.

3/9/2010 IV Processing Fee says "PAID".

3/23/2010 DS-230 and civil documents FedExed to NVC.(should arrive 10:30 3/24)

3/24/2010 DS-230 and civil docs received by NVC. Signed by K. StLaurent.

04/05/2010 Case complete @ NVC according to AVR. Sign In Failed.

5/12/2010 Hubby's Going to get Medical Exam done.

5/13/2010 Med Exam should be completed and picked up.

5/14/2010 Our son and I are meeting Hubby in Barbados.

05/18/2010 Interview date. :( No yes, but no no either!

05/25/2010 I DHL'ed the I-160 waiver, hardship letter, I-864, and supporting documents to Barbados Embassy.

05/27/2010 Requested Documents DELIVERED to US Embassy in Barbados.

--/--/---- Documents (I-601 Waiver and Hardship Letter) DELIVERED to Homeland Security in Santo Domingo.
