I am sending in my AOS form I485 and am also including form I-131 Application for

Travel Document and I want to know if there is a fee for the I-131 I will need to pay. I think I read or heard somewhere that if I send it in with my I-485 then it's free. Can someone confirm or deny that???

That is correct. If you send in your I-131 (and it's accompanying documentation) at the same time, and in the same package as your I-485, there is no additional charge. The $1010 for the I-485 covers the I-485, the I-765, and the I-131. If you send in your I-131 later, in a second envelope, they will still waive the fee, but only if you include a copy of the NOA1 receipt notice from the I-485.

Small correction. The $1010 covers ONLY the AOS fee.

If you apply for the I-131 (AP) and I-765 (EAD) at the same time as AOS (or while it's pending) then the fees for those are waived.

The reason for the distinction is whether you apply for the AP or EAD the fee for AOS remains the same. Not applying for them doesn't give a discount as one would assume from use of the word "included" or in this case "covers".
