Hi Everyone,

My fiance had his interview are the Embassy in Abu Dhabi on Feb 7th. He was put on Administrative Processing. Its been 22 days now and we are still waiting. I was wondering if anyone has had any expierence with this. If so what kind of time frame am I looking at.

Any information would be appreciate.

Sorry about the AP. I'm on day 18 of AP and I know it feels like being in some awful, answerless netherworld.

Unfortunately, there is no way to know how long AP will last. Try to find out if they are doing name checks with the DOS or if it is the embassy doing some kind of checks.

Hi. Yep, my husband was placed on AP after his interview on November 10, 2009. He is Saudi, but his interview was in Sydney because that is where he is currently residing. It's been almost 4 months, but from what I've read on this site ... the wait for individuals from Arab countries can be very loooooooooong. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, especially because his Australian visa is close to expiring and that would mean transferring the case to Riyadh and MORE delays.

My wife went through AP at the embassy in Abu Dhabi. I went to the interview and all but three of the ~25 people interviewing there were placed on AP. It's fairly normal. I believe most of us placed in AP in January were approved during February, so the average time frame with which I am familiar is ~1 month.

Even I am on Administrative processing, I was interviewed on Feb 18, no news yet. I think once you see your number on the website, you just need to submit your passport. I havent heard of a second interview. Just let us know if you have any updates. Thanks

I dont think there is another interview unless you are missing documentation. We are also still pending AP. I know the following clause is posted when AP is done

Submit Passport(s) to Embassy

We are pleased to inform you that processing of your application for immigration to the United States has reached the point where we request that you submit your passport(s) to prepare for visa issuance. You or another trusted person may bring your passports to the Embassy in Abu Dhabi any Sunday at 10 a.m., excluding holidays. In most cases, the visa will be ready for pick-up on the following Thursday at 2 p.m. Embassy staff will provide further details when you drop off your passport(s).

Right now I think all we can do is wait, wait, wait.

hey i m on AP from jan 28 2010 till now like 47 days there is no time frame work and there is no way to track ur AP.

they only way is DOS that u can call and ask them and they will only tell u the status thats all.
