i-864 requirements

Do i need to request tax transcript from IRS for 2009 or will my W2'S for 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 be good enough for the NVC because i have not filed yet for 2009, therefore i cant recieve the transcripts for 2009!

Your W2's are not enough. You will need tax returns, W2's, 1099's and schedules for each year.

2009 is not required until April 15, 2010. It can't hurt to send just the w2's for 2009, and the above mentioned for 06, 07 and 08.

I personally prefer IRS transcripts and they are free to obtain. Up to you though.

Try to send IRS 4056, I believe. You can get transcripts of previous three years in 10 days... Include pay stubs and w2's for this year (from 6 months back if possible)

actually, all you have to do is call the IRS and get a copy of your transcript. I wanted to gather information well in advance, so I called them and got my tax transcripts for 06,07, 08. I did not file my 2009 taxes yet. it took about 1 week, pretty easy

I suggested form 4506T because you can request more options...
