Can't we be more understanding?

I read the thread which has now been locked - the one where Shonnie freaked. I have one thing to say... we need to be more understanding of others. If someone is freaking back off... no need to score points.

Shonnie has been under extreme stress to the point where she is having physical ailments. Personally, I cannot even begin to imagine what she is going through.

We all go through stress in this damned visa process, some have a lot more to deal with than others. Granted she freaked and said things she should not have.... but was there really such a need to provoke her?

Where has all the love gone??? Where is the caring and understanding???

Can we please bring it back to VJ?

I agree with the OP. VisaJourney is for supporting each other, not attacking because of words on a computer screen! The end goal is the same, a visa for our SO's.

Try to imagine what it feels like to be apart from your loved one for such a long time. It is a living nightmare where you just try to get by one day at a time. Every waking minute is consumed with immigration worry. Now imagine one of your only releases, was a website of others going thru it. Then, because you 'typed out of turn' you are the brunt of complete threads of drama.

Come on VJ'ers, try to have compassion.
