Keeping this thread afloat :D

Hi,

My husband send an email to the NVC in my behalf, for the DS3032

Will that be fine but in he wrote my email address at the end of the letter, he followed the draft that we have seen here in VJ..

do you think this is fine?

I think it really should be sent from your account not your husband's account. I am not 100% sure they will accept it that way.

I'm not sure if it matter. FYI, email normally left trail of info on where that email originated from.

in the name of Sachinky hehehe to all the NVC Noobs ..Welcome to this thread..Please :guides: before asking a question...

the shortcuts of LingChe are great http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...he_NVC_ShortCut

here's Christeen's time tested formula to get you through NVC in one piece alive:

Petitioner: Get NVC # + give operator your email IDs + receive AOS fee bill + pay 70$ online + wait to show paid + print cover sheet + send I-864 AOS with all documents and case # written on each page.

Beneficiary: Get NVC# + receive DS3032 + send DS3032+ DS3032 accepted + IV fee bill available to be paid + pay & wait to show paid + print IV cover sheet + mail DS230 package with all original/certified documents

= wait for case complete + wait for interview to be scheduled.

Currently the # of business days NVC is taking:

3-5 days for NVC to receive your case and assign a case #.

3-5 days to receive emailed links after case # has been assigned and email addresses been given to NVC operator.

1-2 days for the AOS bill to show as PAID.

5-6 days for DS3032 to be accepted.

1-2 days for IV bill to be PAID.

7-9 days for case complete after all your documents have been sent in.

opps I forgot keep your timelines updated

Hi Iji.........I saw you had scheduled your medical very close to your interview date. I was thinking of doing something similar since my home town is very far from Chennai and it will save couple of trips to Chennai if its scheduled properly.

Is there any risk in doing that?

I am getting a little ahead of myself here since I am still in the NVC stage :D

you are not the only one.. I already prepared all the documentations that I will take to the interview like photos, emails ,phone bills etc...and I am calculating about taking my vacations pending from last year to have enough time to do all the little details before the interview , do the medical etc...so as you see you are not the only one hehehe
