We are working on completing our AOS, and have encountered a problem regarding the I-693. My husband and I are unsure if we even have to complete the I-693. My husband came on a K1 visa and had a full medical exam in december. The doctor overseas completed the DS 3025 and my husband did not receive a copy of the vaccinations. I am reading different things about weather or not we even need to go to see a civil surgeon. One place has said that the civil surgeon still needs to turn in the I-693 and just complete the vaccination part, but the problem is that my husbands vaccinations are all in a different language. Another place I have read has said that we do not need to complete the I-693 since the USCIS has a copy of his completed medical exam from December?!?! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Well here's the thing. Your husband's medical exam is good for 12 months and the USCIS should have it in their hands since it was handed over in the yellow envelope at POE when he arrived. Now, you can send a copy of his DS-3025 which should be good enough but for some reason many people have received RFEs requesting an I-693 anyway. So you might as well find an approved civil surgeon who will transfer his vaccine record to the I-693 and get it over with before filing for AOS. Also, do not be surprised if he also gets an RFE requesting another medical exam claiming they don't have a copy of it because it has happened from time to time.
