Do they have a specific fed ex address or UPS if I am sending it through either of those carrier??

Since it is a POBox, then it is best if you send it with USPS. Everyone uses it and it gets delivered just fine.

I planned on sending in our I 751 in a medium flat rate Priority Mail box. But if it will be delivered to a P.O. Box I don't think it will fit and the postal clerk will have to place a notice in the P.O. Box. Will someone from the Vermont Service Center still get the oversized package or should I try and send our I 751

in a flexible packaging so it would fit in the P.O. Box? I wanted to send it in the medium sized flat rate Priority box in order to keep our packet from getting wrinkled, folded, damaged, etc.

Thanks for any replies.

Don't worry. A flat rate box will be delivered without any problem. The service center mail isn't delivered to a standard sized PO Box.

Just to explain the PO box thing......I worked for a very large insurance company and each department within the building had their own PO Box address. it helped the mailroom sort mail faster within the company. Don't think of it as a standard PO Box that you or I might have down at the post office.

USPS has been around for many many years. They know what to do! I am also sure that VSC always receives over sized packages due to the demands they make for ROC so I wouldn't worry about it. By the way, make sure you get a delivery confirmation with your package. Not sure if you just forgot to mention that or you were not planning on it.

can i still use the priority boxex and send it overnight express mail?

Sorry, that's beyond my knowledge...

If you live close to VSC, you may still send by priority mail? It'll take 1 to 3 days?

I forgot to mention that I'd like to send the Priority package with a return receipt but don't know if someone at VSC will sign for it if my package is sent to the P.O. box. Should I just get Delivery Confirmation and forget about the Return Receipt?

Thanks.

I suggest USPS overnight which already has a tracking number - that is enough. They should receive it just in time. By the way, go to the post office as early as possible tomorrow and get it sent.

Good luck!

i sent it last feb 9th thru the USPS express mail. But probably due to the recent storm we had here, when I track my package it was just delivered today. Today is the expiration day of my green card. Do you guys think I made it? Are they considering their denial thru post mark date or on the date received?
