They need to be moist too, otherwise they shatter.

Montreal Interviewer: "What do you have in common with each other?"

Peachey: "We're REALLY weird."

Montreal Interviewer (incredulously to me): "Do you agree with that?"

<I think back to several days before the interview. Driving through the country, passing a field with cows...>

Peachey: "MOOOO! MOOOOO! Does this make me weird?"

Me: "No, well yes. Here, let me roll down the windows so they can hear you better!"

Peachey: "MOOOOO!!!!"

<back to interview>

Me: "Yes, yes I do."

I think the sports gods are trying to kill me. This friday, the Lakers and Kings both have playoff games, and the NFL draft will be on T.V., but most importantly, it is my anniversary. My wife will absolutely kill me if she catches me even checking scores on my phone.

I must remain vigilant, and focused.

Nope, thats Betty White dressed as Princess Leah wielding a flaming chainsaw, riding centaur John Ritter.

I thought it was john edwards, lol

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Damn you, you made me snort salmon.

you're right, that could be John Edwards!

in other news... i just ate a whole tin of salmon. It's this fancy boneless, skinless kind and it's like eating a really nice salmon filet. I had that sprinkled with dill for lunch. It was really good but I feel like a bit of a weirdo now.

My parents are such renovation fiends.

They just sent me like 6 pictures of the new master bathroom. It's insane. Every SINGLE thing in the bathroom was replaced.

They even tore out my brother's closet to put in a standing shower so they could also have a separate tub.

It looks really nice, and I can't wait to use the bathtub when I visit

Ever since we started living there, my parents have changed so much. They put in new counters, built an island for the kitchen, painted just about every single wall, put in new toilets, ripped out all the flooring minus the bedrooms and put in laminate, turned the porch into a sunroom, put in a hot tub with a mini deck and privacy fence, put in a free standing double garage, turned part of the attached garage into a mudroom (a place for shoes n stuff)and now they redid the whole master bathroom.

I dont know why they just didn't tear down the whole house and re-do it!
