And the nature of how many guys meet their FSU ladies (funny how everyone here knows what Elena's Models is, but every one of us met our SO at a bus stop or bar or anywhere else ) is of course going to lend itself to some occasional off-color chatter.

I have no problem admitting that I met my wife on Elena's models. Was sort of interesting how it happened. I had tried Match.com, Yahoo dating, and even EHarmony off and on over the years, but never found what I was looking for. There were basically 2 sets of women on those sites: The ones I was interested in, and the ones interested in me...there was almost no overlap between those 2 sets! haha Anyway, one day this hottie messages me and we start to write...well needless to say it didn't take long for me to figure out it was scammer although I had never really heard about that sort of thing back then. A week or two later, after another hottie scammer message me, I decided to do a google search which led me to Elena's models and all her information on scams. At that same time I happened to take a look at a few of the profiles on her site and was really blown away with the difference between those girls and the ones on the American dating sites. But at that time, the whole idea was absurd to me and I could never see myself looking outside of the country.

Anyway, I continued dating a few people from the American dating sites over the next year or so but wasn't very enthused about anyone. It wasn't until about a year later the idea popped in my head to go look at that "Russian site" again. After googling for scammers, I again found Elena's models and looked at it a little closer. I saw the free sign up and figured what the heck...I was bored. Needless to say, the next day I go and look and there's like 20 emails. But unlike the American dating sites, pretty much every one of them was interesting to me! It was at that point that I finally started thinking, you know...if I had a hottie like that, I would go outside the USA! So I decided what the hell...I'll give it a shot. About a month later, I came across my wife's profile. To be honest, my first thoughts were that she looked like trouble (she wasn't sleazy or anything like that, but she was really sexy and just looked like trouble to me! haha). Having learned well from my past mistakes (mostly), I didn't go beyond her photo...until about a week later, I was looking over my inbox again and couldn't resist. I clicked on her profile and was surprised to see that she didn't sound so much like trouble as I thought...she talked about how important morals and religion were to her, etc. This, and her extreme love of music really grabbed my attention (and the fact she was a hottie!).

The first couple times I wrote to her I got form email responses! lol (that was familiar) Finally, after the 3rd time, I got her attention and she apologized and said she would be really writing to me in the future. From that day, we wrote huge letters back and forth every single day. About a week after that, we were talking on the phone for hours at a time. Within a month, I was doing the unthinkable, and I was on my way to Ukraine to meet her. =) The rest is history and we've been married about 3 years now. (Oh and for the record...1st time marriage here for both of us, no kids, etc.)

As far as bringing fiancees/wives on here...I've asked my wife about it in the past and she said she wouldn't mind posting. Usually, she just didn't have time due to school. I'll see if I can get her on here just to make things interesting.

Now, that was an insult ... but I don't feel offended because if you and I were to take an I.Q. test together, I would beat you hands down.

You can call me fat, bald, old, and many other qualifiers with a valid reason, but thanks to God, so far intellect is something that I have not lost yet ... maybe after I become older it will happen, but right now I am open to the "intellect" match, if you desire a formal measurement before qualifying people.

Your problem is you've been hanging around the Russian Forum since Moses parted the Red Sea. Maybe you need a new hobby? Or maybe you need a nice long hiatus so the newer posters don't bore you so much, or show their ignorance that you so happily point out for them. But then, if you did leave who, pray tell, will be the crusader for both Russian and American women's virtue? Gary, I am completely secure in my relationship. It's a shame you aren't in yours apparently. If you were secure in yourself, your life, your relationship, etc., then you wouldn't need to constantly degrade both American & FSU women. And yes, the way you speak of your wife like she's some sort of mail-order show dog that you seek constant recognition for is degrading to her. You act as if she's some sort of prize winning show poodle that you expect American women to pin a best in show blue ribbon on. I would be surprised if she didn't find your and a lot of the other posters in the Bitter Bob Brigade's posts offensive. Especially the morons advocating violence against American women or insinuating RUB women like/expect domestic violence. Seriously, if you guys were so happy then your posts wouldn't sound so thoroughly bitter. And nobody, man or woman, likes bitter people. Just because a few people with 'issues' in this forum think a certain way doesn't make them or their views right. You don't see the same BS in the UK, European or Canadian forums that you see here. The only other place I've seen such nonsense is in the MENA forum and I think the middle-aged women that hate all American men are equally idiotic. At the end of the day, none of you are making American women look bad. You are only making yourselves look bad and very, very bitter with each and every asinine post. Not only that, but you are making your wives look bad. I wouldn't stay with a man that was so bitter or that was only with me because of my looks. Come on, if we all don't truly understand that we all here joke around about those bad American women and those super hot FSU women and that it is all a joke (meaning there are many many very nice American women, like any group of women from any country, and that we only joke that our only attraction is our FSU womens' looks), then you truly do not understand the joke.

We do care about our women and more than their looks. If anyone doesn't understand that, then you don't understand (meaning to the non-RUB folks, you really don't know about "the joke" and we really can't describe it to you since you are not a RUB person, please don't take that as a negative directed towards you, you just don't understand).

And to the non_RUB mods, you may also not understand the joke; nothing meant to slight you.
