No need to apologize! The GW people are happy for the cold winter and relieved GW is being curtailed through the efforts of the UN and various other meetings...Kyoto, Copenhagen, etc. Obviously the meetings had a good effect. Thanks!

If you are looking for hot weather, go the the South Pole, they claim the average temperature rose by 1*C over the last 90 years from a very cold -89*C to a blistering hot -88*C.

Don't even bother going to the North Pole unless you bring hip boots, and don't believe those Arctic Blasts either, those are coming from Arizona.

But I feel it's safe to believe in pollution and killing for oil. They could also call it that, especially the latter.

Global warming causes climate change. Sometimes it causes colder than normal conditions. This will continue for decades until both polar ice caps melt and most of the land is underwater. Then it will be warm.

this explanaton was invented when it became clear there was no global warming. It now covers anything. Anything is because of global warming.

Why can't you just take credit for the fact that all the meetings have eliminated global warming? You were right, there was global warming and all the politicians fixed it! Congratulations.

We have not had warming for well over a decade now, how long before you call the the trend over?

It wasn't a trend Danno. That is for tennis shoes. We need to just fess up and give the GW people their due. They saw the problem coming, they had some meetings, they signed some important papers, they even bought some hybrid cars. They fixed it. They just need to realize that they were usccessful and claim credit.
