My fiance has a copy of the packet. And I understand that I need to send her a I-134 (and one from a co-sponsor too since we'll need one). Is there anything else I will need to do or send to my fiance?

+ Tax transcripts and any other supporting document (employer letter, bank statement, etc...). Any income or asset used needs to be supported by document

+ Renewed letter of intend

And it is fiancéE, as I assume the japanese one of the two of you is the girl on the picture. ;)

Get I-134 notarized and send to beneficiary before Interview.

I-134 is no longer required to be notarized, but it won't hurt. You can send her any "proof of relationship" materials that she may not have, or new passport stamps if you have taken a trip between NOA1 and interview to see her. Make sure she is well organized and work together on sample interview questions, make sure she knows ALL about you and your life so she can not be tripped up by the VO. Good luck! :thumbs:

In the past, it had to be notarized...no longer the case. This is an example of how an "experienced" member can not be up to date on the current forms and procedures, yet draw from their experience to cause confusion. Fortunately we have a large enough group of people to peer-review everything that is posted...well, most are reviewed. :blink:

True. I wasn't sure about that either and called my embassy about it and they told me that it does not have to be notarized - "just sign it!".
