Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! My fiance & I were united in the US on the 23rd so Christmas was extra special for me this year. My question is what to do next at this point in term of paper works?

Our plan is to get married very soon within the next month, have her attend ESL classes, getting a driver license, find work if she wishes.

Thanks for your advice!!

After getting your marriage license, process of AOS.. Is recommended not to apply for social security until you have been in the states for two weeks [information may not be in the system within the first two weeks and may delay the process in receiving your SS card].

She cannot work legally without the EAD which you would apply for along with the adjustment of status.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
