It's so weird to see early March petitions get approved on the same date as late May petitions.

maybe those late may approvals are the ones that were transferred to VSC from CSC  (as per a thread here where someone said he was told by a Vermont staffer that this was the case)

04/13/06 - I-129F mailed

04/18/06 - NOA1

08/30/06 - NOA2

09/26/06 - received at NVC

09/27/06 - forwarded to consulate

20/11/06 - visa in my pocket!

14/01/07 - POE

13/04/07 - marriage

27/04/07 docs sent in for AOS, EAD, AP

my suspicion, based on the list above, is that they are working on noa2 for those who have the imbra rfe back in first and that is the date they are working on for priority. an imbra rfe on say 6 jul with a noa1 date of say 15 mar has priority over an imbra rfe date of 9 jul with a noa1 date of 10 mar. i'd guess the only difference might be where an imbra rfe came in for 2 cases at the same time and one had a noa1 date prior to the other.

make sense?

charlesandnessa - I want to agree with your assessment. However, to date, there aren't enough CSC approvals to make a definite conclusion. The approvals seems random... at least right now.

charlesandnessa - I do agree that CSC is processing our petitions from the receipt date of the IMBRA RFE and possibly the completeness of the K1 petition. It will be interesting to piece this puzzle together when we have more approvals.

Have any Nebraska transfers been approved? I am thinking we are in a separate pile!

I am happy to see some CSC approvals happening, but I would like to see one happen for a transferee. (It won't be me though, they only acknowledged my RFE yesterday.)

Some of the folks are transfers, but some of them changed their profiles to reflect CSC. I'd have to looked it their locations where they had to first applied.

From your reference line... 'tragedy' ???

The tragedy, as I've maintained and others have supported, are the transferrees... not those who've only been waiting since March/April...

Jen

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Congrats to all of you!!

Interesting description, 'weird', but I would use another few words to describe this phenomenon.

I think people are putting the wrong dates for RFE receipts. There's no way uzy & lisanne got a receipt the same day they received it. And many timelines in VJ show too short of dates to be the receipt. I wish there was consistency!

Also, I'm dying to see some NSC approvals!

I agree! I believe some folks are putting the date they mailed the RFE back to CSC and not the receipt date of the IMBRA RFE. So for all that read this, PLEASE POST YOUR IMBRA RFE RECEIPT DATE and NOT the date you mailed it back to CSC. If you are registered with USCIS, then your IMBRA RFE receipt date will be stated when you log-in.
