Hey! I'm new to the forum but I needed to share ... CSC finally notified me that they recieved our IMBRA RFE! I was starting to get really disheartened about this whole process, and my partner didn't even receive the RFE until July 15th (was dated as being sent out June 23rd!!!) and that was the last time they'd handled anything to do with our case. I got the standard "However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message" update, but I don't understand because there is no maximum stated in the message ... :unsure: Anyways I was just so overjoyed to finally hear something I had to tell someone ... and fiance is at work, lol.

I just have read your letter here and i thought that we have the same problems with the NOA2.

The USCIS got my petition at 16 of March...

And you know that people who sent the petitions after 6 March were effected with the new law..

So my deadline ended at 13 of July( it was 120 days since we sent it) . But they sent to my feance a Criminal Backgroud form. He fill it in and sent it and they got it at 8 July.

Now our status is

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status:

On July 8, 2006, we received your response to our

request for evidence or information. However because

preliminary processing was complete, the remaining

processing time will be less than the maximum stated

in this message. You will receive a written decision

on this case. You can use our processing dates to

estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the

link below for current processing dates

So that means they have to aprove it soon..
