The bottom line with the global warming issue (or any issue for that matter) is that the truth is the only thing that matters. Anyone who goes into this discussion with ulterior motives based entirely on political bias are dead wrong from the get go. Science can be wrong... any reasonable person knows that. However the conspiracy theory nut cases are only muddying the waters of the debate & bring no value to the discussion.

Danno is just being an obedient tool for the Manufactured Doubt Industry by posting this stupid garbage.

Marketing experts learned back in the 50's, when scientific studies were linking heart disease and lung cancer to smoking, that they could effectively sway public opinion by spreading disinformation which contradicted the science. It's amusing that Danno thinks he's doing the public a service by going viral with this disinformation, always from non-climate science sources. You could explain to him the scientific process, what scientific theory means, and how legitimate scientific findings gets published through peer-reviewed scientific journals until the sun sets and you still won't penetrate that thick skull of his. He's probably never taken a science course in college or any college for that matter.

He is part of a large number of the public that are ignorant and suspicious of science because they don't understand it. And if you look at where that begins...it begins within families who are suspicious of public schooling, so their children don't get a good basic understanding of the sciences. They see public schools and science as secular and a threat to their belief system.

Kinda like the junk science you bow down to, so willingly?

I think it's time to update your argument..... or did you not know much of these "Facts" are found out to be fraud and the research they were based on no longer exists.

This is the part that is so telling.

Read this editorial. I'll repost it in a new thread. One that isn't tinged with Dannologic from the beginning (I'll highlight some key parts so you don't miss them):

All scientists are skeptics...or they wouldn't be scientists. Denial, however, has absolutely nothing to do with science. And here I thought you knew the difference, Bill.

Who has logged onto Marc's account? Surely this can't be him posting, there is no "Son" or "you be" or even a youtube video to illustrate what he himself is incapable of doing

If Glenn Beck is your poster child for the truth I feel very sorry for you. You can't find the truth if all you do is blindly support a political ideology (the truth has no party affiliation).

Denial, however, has absolutely nothing to do with science.

Quite right. Denial is a river in Egypt.

If either polar opposite (one with ice, one without) could discuss this issue without resorting to personal insults, I'd be prepared to believe in the Easter Bunny. As it is, I think my sanity is safe.
