That must smell wonderful!

And now I feel like eating a papaya from my family's farm, mom has them growing right outside her kitchen door, can't get any fresher than picking one and having it for breakfast. Yummm!

Sister ValA...how can it be that they are deducting from his paycheck for you...but you are not covered? Is it because you are not in the USA permanently yet?

I thought if you guys are already married you would be covered, no matter where in the world you may be <Canada included>.

I think it is because I am not a permanent resident. We will see. Unfortunately, the admin at the college are off the same as the staff for holidays, so they won't be back until Jan 11th and we can't straighten it out until then. I am hoping they just forgot to file paperwork with Blue Cross Blue Shield, but I have a very bad feeling about this. And I *nagged* hubby to call them and find out why I did not get an insurance card at the same time he did for the last 3 weeks. I am not a patient person, and am trying to be, so I only mentioned it twice a week. I don't know how I can make it to the 11th. And I really need to see a doctor. Oh well. Not a darned thing I can do about it now. Just not going to think about it.

My friend from Wisconsin just visited, so she brought me really good cheese curds. Coloured yellow, unfortunately, but they taste the same. And I had some awesome chicken gravy in the fridge.

For those who have not had poutine (fries, cheese curds, gravy) - it looks and sounds disgusting, but it is one of the best foods in the world.
