Yes, he is one of our resident full-tenured nerds. You should. Rich is not only a top world known scholar, but an adorable guy. His wife used to teach Bangla and also studied Women in Islam; until she was killed in a tragic bike accident last year --he is a fantastic source of knowledge this one. And I have adopted him since Carol died.

The other prof I told you about, Heidi Pauwels, is kind of a diva. Good on her work, but mega snotty.

Yes, I am keeping the Diva as well for my planned 2nd book (...it is in 'dream mode' right now...) because she has more of a Hindu background. I'll tap her in a likewise manner because I want to do a theological comparison of the Catholic/Christian concept of God in the Trinity (Father/Son/Holy Spirit) with the Hindu concept of the God in the Trinity (Shiva/Vishnu/Brahma). To me, this is an endlessly fascinating subject.

I love the Hindu's appreciation of the Goddesses...and Love the fact that their incarnations of their Lord Vishnu had HeavenlySex with them They have a very good appreciation for the complete essence of love, one that is not as well developed, shunned, or totally ignored, in other forms of religion.

ARGH. My hubby drives me nuts sometimes. This is partly my own fault, I know he doesn't worry about health insurance and things like that, like I do. BUT JEEZ. I specifically ASKED him to check if I really could be covered on his health insurance since I am only here as a visitor for a few months. Turns out he didn't actually ask them the question, just ran on his own assumption. So I didn't get travel insurance and now I am here and it looks like even though they have been deducting from his paycheque for me, I am not actually covered. And I am pregnant (unplanned, obviously). And 40 years old, so need additional tests and stuff. And still have a few months left here. I am stoopid. I knew better. And am totally freaking out.
