Hey Amby!

I've slept on the sofa every since my husband went back to Egypt. I can't bring myself to sleep in our bed.

I just has a very long heart to heart conversation with the boy. It is sooo sad, so sad. He probably has to undergo tx for a long time over in EGY as the tx here is just not affordable. He did some tests already and has to undergo more...Lets face it, he is slowly dying. 0h G-d why???? :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying: I told him if anything happens to him then I will refuse tx for my kidneys. I just need some hope and of course he cannot promise ...........

I feel like Im going to throw up.

I'm a dumb brazilian and I dunno what a tx is for but I see it's bad, that's why I asked what did I miss. :( My thoughts are with Nagi.

Good Morning Commies!

I have finished my I.T. 'Demo-Extravaganza' for Senior Leadership as of last night. And, my wife (and me to a slight degree) hosted the big wine tasting competition at our house on last Wednesday for the same group. It was an extremely tiring week, but overall it was incredibly successful week as well. Now today is Friday and I don't have much to do...so I'll get back to what is important...blessing this C4C thread!

Commies...did I tell you about my blessing that occurred on my way to work this morning? I was pulled over by a police officer for two violations...speeding and a burned out headlight. I was without a doubt guilty on both accounts :whistle: . Yet, I received a blessing in that the officer only gave me two warning tickets! :innocent:

Nagi ~ that prescription discount thing sounds great. I don't see why he wouldn't qualify he's a LPR and you meet the income requirements. Also, you should check with the state hospitals - I know here in NY there is a discount program too, you pay on a sliding scale. I paid next to nothing for some treatment my son had after I lost my insurance in 2006. You need to give them your whole financial story (paystubs, tax returns, etc) but it's worth it.

K ~ I had to order the case of cow hearts. They should be calling me this weekend to pick them up. :wacko: All I have to do is marinade the meat and then put it on sticks like shishkebobs. It's sorta easy. However, we went to "Compare foods" (latin american supermarket) so that I could get Peruvian corn & stuff like that which goes with it. I'm thinking he's going to be happy.

Bishop ~ hey we've missed you! I wish I could've tasted wine at your party :crying: Tomorrow's my anniversary and I can't even drink. lol

Speaking of my anniversary, we're going to NYC and we have a blizzard warning for tomorrow :blink: Oh well. At least we're taking the train and not driving.
