It's a PI thing. They place a much higher value on looks. At least that is how it was explained to me from a couple of pinoy friends.

My fillipino physical therapist told me yesterday that I should have kids because they'd be gorgeous because biracial (hubby is hispanic and I am Asian) people are beautiful.... I was like "#######, where did that come from?" Now it makes a lot of sense..
